Jewels can be a reason of addiction, for value reasons, because of habits, emotions, gestures…The collection is composed of several pieces. Each jewel is made to be addictive. The addictions are due to a special relationship the wearer develops with its jewels.

I worked on addictive materials which are made to be triturate, manipulate and reshaped. This part of the collection is called ‟addictive behaviours” . The second part of the collection is called ‟prosthesis”. The prosthesises are inspired from the addiction of smoking. These jewels are designed like substitutes. Pretending that smoking has a lot to do with gesture, the prosthesises are helping to copy the smokers’ gesture. 

A necklace which gets older. The more you wear it the more it ages. The addiction to your jewel is stressed by its appearance.

The drop ring. Drops are filled wih air, they deflate and inflate when you touch them. It is like a game which becomes addictive on your hand.
